Vintage Coromandel Chinese Lacquer screen. 8-panel Coromandel screen. See attached picture files. The screen is 8 ft. high by 12 feet wide. It is in excellent condition It is over 50 years old and is so much nicer than those made today. The back has a traditional bamboo and bird motif. Excellent condition. Each panel is 18 inches wide.The pictures show the screen in our clients Manhattan apartment where is was in use for years.

African Ashanti brass lost wax bronze chief riding in a palanquin. This wonderful "Ashanti brass sculpture" came to us from an important African Art collection. This vintage or antique sculpture measures 4 and one eighth inches long, 2 and one eighths inches wide and 3 inches high. This sculpture depicts 11 tribesman carrying their chief who shades himself under an umbrella. A bird rides on top of the umbrella.

Antique Chinese stone sculpture, This "Bodhisattva" dates from Ming to Qing, conservatively 15th to 19th, but probably 17th to 18th century, and possibly earlier. Containing older design elements, such as Northern Wei-type rings around the halo. The hair strands are flat not clumped so it cannot be earlier than Sung period. Facial features are Tang style but not quite as strong as period Tang. Flowing ear ribbons and crossed drapery is more artistic than traditional, pointing to the more expressive Ming and Qing periods. It may be a fragment from a larger carving but it is a period fragment. This stone sculpture's carving is quite advanced. It was clearly carved by a very skilled carver. The face is serenely beautiful and has a pleasing naive look. This rare antique Chinese sculpture measures 23 and one half inches high,14 inches wide and 8 inches deep. A fine acquisition for an advanced collector of Asian Art, or simply a stunning artistic enhancement for a fine home. Authenticity verified by Dr Marylin Rhie at Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
